What does a typical day look like for you?

It changes day to day – but one thing is consistent – it’s always chaotic! I start my day getting the kids up and ready for school, making lunches and dropping them off. I then like to do some form of exercise – whether it be walking the cooper park stairs, or a PT sesh. I usually start my first client around 10am, and before you know it, it’s school pick up time already! I’ll usually take the kids to the park, try and tire them out a bit (especially Eddie ) then it’s straight into homework, bath time, a sneaky episode of friends and bed! The next 2 hours are usually spent trying to get Eddie to stay in bed! Then, as I’m sure you guessed, it’s wine time – and well deserved if you ask me.

How do you practice self care?

Being a working mum, self-care is such an important part of my day. Self care is really just about having some time by myself to breathe and recoup. It usually presents as some form of face mask, wine or workout. I try and do some form of self care every day, even if it’s just for 10 minutes!

What does your current skincare routine look like? AM versus PM.

I’ll start this off by warning you I am not low maintenance (in case you didn’t already pick up on that )

Sheet mask or cream mask? Any favourites you're currently using?

Sheet mask! The Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mask is my all-time favourite.

Body moisturiser or Body oil?  Any favourites you're currently using?

I LOVE a good Body moisturiser – I hate the feeling of my skin being dry! I’ve been religiously using the Nécessaire Body Lotion for months now and it’s fast becoming my new favourite.

A matte or glossy lip?

Don’t make me choose! Matte during the day, glossy at night.

A mani/pedi or blow dry?

Again, I pray there never comes a day I have to choose between the two but mani/pedi. Lockdown has shown me more than ever how much I appreciate getting my nails done!

Most under-rated beauty tip?

If you’re going to invest in beauty products, invest in skincare. Makeup will only look as good as the skin underneath. Invest in facials, good skincare products and a good face sunscreen.

What is one piece of beauty advice that you have always treasured?

That natural is beautiful and less is more. Don’t overdo it!

What is one piece of beauty advice that you wish you had heard growing up?

Wear your SPF. Every. Damn. Day. I spent my youth prancing around Rottnest Island in a tiny bikini, and whilst I still may be fond of a tiny bikini, I always slip slop slap! It’s honestly the key to ageing gracefully.
