Tell us about yourself and what you do for a living?
I am a beautician specialising in eyebrows, micro blading and lash lifting. I have been in the beauty industry since i was 16, I studied beauty for 3 years during high school then after graduation i jumped straight into doing brows and haven't left the industry since. I recently opened up my own salon 7 months ago in Brisbane and am now starting to look at my next project.
What does a typical morning look like for you?
Usually it's a 5am wake up, a long black coffee in hand and If I'm not stopping over to see my sister and niece then I head to either BPM pilates or F45. I make my way to work for a shower, change, make up - to then set up the salon for a day.Do you have any special rituals that you commit to daily? (Meditation, goal setting, drinking lemon water etc):
I honestly can not go a day without having at least 2 litres of water. I have a 1.5L bottle with me at all times and adding the CILK rose extract makes it easier to finish my goal amount. It's a good habit I've gotten myself into and has become such a ritual for me. Also face moisturiser every morning no matter what! What is your version of self-care?
Exercise for not only your body but for your mind, get enough sleep each night, drink water and make yourself a priority. Doing something that makes YOU feel amazing each week is super important for taking care of yourself in my opinion. My go-tos are exercising, getting a fresh spray tan, a facial or a massage.Current morning skincare routine:
Very simple. Cleanse using rationale, Ultraviolet sunscreen, followed by lamer moisturiser and rationale day cream.Your go-to makeup look?

Pimple patches! They are game changers! How does wellness play a role in your approach to beauty?
Wellness and beauty go hand in hand always. It's like the old saying goes when you feel good you look good and beauty comes from the inside (literally!) We all know after a big weekend our skin breaks out, we feel sluggish and we don't have the glow we had the past week in the lead up to that event. I'm all about having a good balance and in my industry I get asked a lot of advice on skin and beauty so I feel a responsibility to take care of myself as much as I can so I can practice what I preach.Best beauty advice you ever received:
Invest in good skin care. What beauty products do you always carry with you/ in your handbag?
Bare minerals powder and a lip balm.
